Wireless Camera Captures Visitor
By: Doug B. | 9:30 PM 15-Feb-2013 | 0 Comments

You never know what sort of odd occurrence you might capture in an automated home that has a few wireless cameras mounted around.

One recent morning I woke up, checked my email and discovered that one of the outside wireless cameras had detected motion during the night.

I was fully expecting it to be just a rare false alarm, perhaps a car's high beam headlights or something else. To my surprise, it turns out that the flyer delivery person decided to spend about 30 seconds peering into my living room window. After having a good look, she placed my weekly flyers in the mailbox and continued on her way.

Perhaps this flyer delivery person was just checking to make sure I did not stay up past my bedtime or perhaps she has a side job of taking notes on homes that might be easy to rip off. I do not know. Either way she may want to choose a different home or at least notice the giant Foscam camera with 30 bright red LEDS mounted 3 feet from her head.
